June 2018: The paper "Work-Life-Balance und Arbeitsbedingungen von wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern in Deutschland" (in German) by Sven Lenkewitz and me has been published in Zeitschrift für Sozialreform.
January 2018: Submit your abstract to our stream "Reforming pension systems - employment, retirement and wellbeing in later life" at the 2018 ESPAnet conference until 19 March 2018.
November 2017: The Collaborative Research Center SFB 884 and our project "Welfare state reform support from below: linking individual attitudes and organized interests in Europe" got funding for another four year period.
November 2017: The paper "Parenthood and Later Life Health: An International Life Course Analysis of Parents and Childless Adults Aged 50 and Older" by Nadine Reibling and me has been accepted for the special issue "Vulnerability in Health Trajectories: Life Course Perspective" of the Swiss Journal of Sociology .
September 2016: I am now a member of the Collaborative Research Center Sfb 884 "Political Economy of Reforms" at the University of Mannheim and Co-PI of the project "Welfare state reform support from below: linking individual attitudes and organized interests in Europe".
October 2015: I started my new position as Assistant Professor for Sociology of the Welfare State at the University of Mannheim.
December 2013: I successfully defended my PhD thesis on 25 November 2013 and received the doctoral degree certificate at the awards ceremony of the University of Cologne, Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences on
13 December 2013.
